Capital Boiler Replacement

This Spring of 2010 Project required us to crane the roof off of the Capital Boiler Plant and remove two 36,000lb steam boilers in one peice and replace with four HE Boilers. Total roof downtime- 1-1/2 days.

Malloy Electric- Dakota Dunes
This 65,000 sq/ft building has infloor radiant heat thrughout, with only three HE boiler suppling it.

Sioux Falls Landfill Gasline
This was a unique project in that we installed sections of 12″ & 14″ HDPE pipe that will carry methane gas produced by the decomposing garbage to a compressor station which then sends it 14 miles south to help power an ethanol production plant.

CCL Label
CCL Label was a design/build project.Howe worked directly with the owner from the initial design to create a complete package. CCL’s 68,000 square foot building has hydronic heating and AC (Air Conditioning), fire sprinkler, plumbing, compressed air and a DeIonized water system,all designed and built by Howe Heating and Plumbing.

Hutchinson Technology
Hutchinson Technology’s 275,000 square foot building included hydronic heating and AC (Air Conditioning) with large diameter (up to 16″) pipe. It was a fast track project completed on time and well under budget.

The Sioux Falls Heart Hospital
The Sioux Falls Heart Hospital is another fast track project. The new 126,000 square foot building has Howe-installed hydronic heating and AC (Air Conditioning) and medical gas.

Sioux Falls Water Purification Plant
The city of Sioux Falls Water Purification Plant project involved removing an existing clarifier and installing a new one to allow for the production of 8 million gallons of drinking water per day. The project involved very large diameter pipe (up to 36″) and was completed within budget and on schedule. Our satisfied client list grows every day.
